I did an oopsie and poked a hole in my bumper. It does need a repaint, but I probably will have to replace it. Seems like part # is 996 505 983 02 G2X. Sunset shows them, but that's not in stock. Anyone have a good source? Our local dealer in Austin is like "who knows when we will see them, call me in a couple months". Looks like it's on backorder and none in the US?

Part number is 996 505 411 22 was for a 996 GT3

There are a couple on eBay in Germany, but IIRC that part is made to order and what the dealer said is accurate.

I looked for a factory GT3 front bumper a few years ago. I was told you can order one through the dealer. They will pull the mold in Germany and make one. I don't know if that was dealer BS but it was expensive with shipping and the lead time was several months. I've heard the 996 Aerokit bumper looks the same but needs minor modification to fit the GT3. It's also cheaper. Available?
