Why has it got turbo brakes on it? Is this actually a GT2!? OK I retract my original comments

Something major happened to it for sure, air box is screwed up, looks like c-pillars are regular turbo units. Cant tell but looks like dash on passenger side lower has some creases. Seems like a cob job junk yard repair. Wonder if the front spindles got trashed and they swapped to turbo fronts because of the availability? At this rate if that is what they are calling a GT2 my turbo project is way closer to the real deal!

Crossed my mind as well after I seeing the carpets. Must have been a major accident to need to replace the carpet and calipers.

For any future internet searches on the car I am putting the VIN directly in this thread WP0AB29962S696088

Just for conversation sake, I think the market is just crazy right now. Looking at it's Carfax, it's had 4 or 5 owners since imported. Despite ultra low miles, no DME.

And Frankenstein is gone....wow. That's consistent with what I've seen, anything sub $100k posted nationally on Autotrader goes quickly, granted this was $105k but close enough

Frankenstein has been resurrected, back up for sale at same dealer for $102k. I wonder why it was removed and now the price drop. Maybe taken off the market to fix something someone found during PPI but am guessing it had to be fairly big issue for them to take it down for 2+ weeks.

Maybe someone's financing didn't go through.
