I posted this in the "lowly" 996 Forum as well, and this may have been posted already but it's a great video.

Thanks for posting. I still find it hard to believe that Porsche AG would not produce a North America Specification 2004 GT3 RS model. I guess additional sales and profit don't really matter. Of course they have done this non-sense many times before to include club sport option packages (crash testing issue?).

I think it has more to do with US regulations, both emissions and crash testing.

However, in this case the emission of the RS was probably the same as the GT3.
