Steve - I think if you weigh a GT3 on race scales with a full tank of gas it will weigh over 3,200# without a driver. Has anyone on this board weighed their car? I'd be curious in the result. I had a 2002 C2 and the official weight was 2,965#, yet people who weighed them (w/o driver) said they weighed around 3,200#. The GT3 is a tad heavier...
When I had my car aligned and corner balanced earlier this month, the total weight was as follows:

3278 pounds
150 pounds for driver
full tank of gas

Subtracting the driver weight: 3128 with a full tank of gas.

Estimating about 6.25 lbs / gallon of gasoline, half a tank (8 gallons) weighs 50 lbs. I believe Porsche gives weights with a half-tank of fuel.

So, with a half-tank of gas, it looks like my GT3 would be about 3078 lbs.

My car has GT3 seats, no a/c, steel brakes.
