There will be damage or something related listed on the Carfax due to the incident being reported to the previous owner's insurance company.

Being the damage engine related and not chassis, I have no issues if all is documented. The title will be clean.

as far as price, with the PCCB this is a mid 70s car all day IMO.

Thanks for this, I appreciate it. Have some time this weekend to think about it.

Not interested in ditching my 70’ 911, but also don’t need two beasts...

I think you'd enjoy the book ends having a hot rod torsion bar 911 and a 996 GT3. I've been fortunate enough to drive almost every Porsche offering in my last couple decades working on them and my perfect pair includes exactly that combination. The 996 GT3 definitely feels the last of a breed (I know everyone keeps adding that nomenclature to a lot of 911 variations for one reason or another), and connects the driver to the car in a way that little else does. When set up properly, and driven by a competent individual, there's little that will keep up with it on the track. Additionally, there's few other cars out there that will handle what I've seen thrown at these cars and keep on ticking. There's a reason most whom sell them regret it at some point.

Properly magical cars.

Quick question: who was the engine builder?

It's in the second paragraph of the summary section. Chris Cervelli.
