Default how much will front camber change if I lower the front 1/2"

I know it will add neg camber approx how much.
Do i just lower the lower the spring perches. I see theres also a ring on the bottom of the strut where it connects to the spindle. What does that do? I have a toe and camber gauge. thanks

Depending on how much bump-steer GT3's have, you may get an unfavorable toe change as well..

I would think GT3's are pretty sensitive to toe's and cambers...

Lowering a half inch will not add a lot of negative camber - may 0.2 degrees. I have been told that GT2 and GT3 are very sensitive to ride height although I can't see how lowering it in the front could make things nasty. The GT2 is nearly 1/2 inch lower in front that the GT3 from the get-go.

It appears that US bound GT3's (and, *maybe* even 2004 GT2's) are 10 mm higher in front. If you really want to lower yours, just go by the factory specs and have the car re-aligned and corner balanced accordingly. Height specs are:

Front: 115 + 5 mm (115 to 120 mm)
Rear: 128 + 5 mm (128 to 133 mm)

Viken, as always I defer to you on specs ):-)

Canadian GT3's may be different. When I had mine aligned and corner balanced my front ride height was 118 mm and the rear was 128.

Indeed. That's within the ROW specs. BTW, there is no definite answer as to whether or not North American cars are intentionally raised 10 mm. It's just that some people reported this when they had their cars checked. It could just be a random occurrence.

I can confirm my car was set at exactly 125mm front ride height when I took it in to Johnson's for the alingment. (it is now 115mm)
