Default Value of 996 GT3 stock coil overs?

I have had these in storage for a couple years. This is a stock 2004 GT3 coil over setup with 25k miles. What do you guys think is a fair price to ask?

I honestly have been watching the market for every part imaginable since I am rebuilding my car currently. I am going to list mine once they are off (70k miles) as functioning cores for around $550. I have seen multiple sets sit for over $800 and the decent ones seem to sell around $650-$750 or so.

The issue is new ones are somewhat reasonable and a rebuild costs around $250 a shock I believe.

About $500. At this age I would have them rebuilt before using, even if only 25K miles when they were stored.

A guy in PA has had a set for sale for $400.00 for 2 years with no takers.
HIS ARE FRONTS ONLY

I think there are more sellers than buyers for these parts.

And the fact that the stock coilovers were not that great doesn't help. I mean seriously...250/550lb springs on a GT3? Really? What were they thinking?

I think this is right on target. I found a second used set so that I could have them sent to Glenn Yee Motosports to have them rebuilt.
Glenn did a great job but it takes some time so having a spare set is a great idea. This way, you can rebuild a set without taking the car down.
The other thing is that the H&R springs will likely need to be replaced. They have a reputation for losing their spring rate over time and mine were no exception. If Glenn rebuilds your stuff, he will test the springs.
Glenn rebuilt my coilovers with a set of Eibach's which don't share the H&R metallurgy problem and should be good to go for the next rebuild too.
(Mine took even longer because I had the shock tubes replated locally with electroless nickel.)

Thanks to the whole group. I think I'll post them up for $500. Let me know if anyone here wants dibs. Have a great weekend!

Every time I see the stock rates mentioned, makes me laugh.

I would target the non-GT (996 C2) crowd when selling these. The factory GT3 suspension is an awesome upgrade for street-driven Carreras.

Thanks all. I think they are sold. If not, I will offer up to the C2 crowd. Thanks for the suggestion @Capt. Obvious

I did the exact same thing with Glenn. Slow is an understatement lol but work is good and reasonable. I did the eibach’s too.

Bumping this thread up one last time before I post in the classifieds. I'll take $500 shipped for these.

FWIW, I paid $500 for a set a couple years ago, WITH the top mounts, for my RTRO996 ('01 C2). Rebuilt them at a cost of around $1K first. So at a cost of $1,500 or so you are bumping up on a new set of adjustable, more modern coil overs. In my case, the top mounts made it a good deal.
