The estimated production for for the 2004 model year GT3 (which runs until July '04 so it isn't over yet) is 2500 cars worldwide. Of that 750 were to be allocated for North America but given the delivery rate so far we may end up seeing only about 500. Outside of North America the GT3RS street car is available in a run supposedly of 500 but I don't know if it is considered part of the 2500.

Its impossible to know the number of GT3s they will produce for the US, PORSCHE doesnt commit or keep their word anymore, they build to suit, no concern for costumer value anymore, just realize that going in.
