Save that front splitter, my approach
I have a swale in my driveway, couldn't get the 6GT3 into my garage on the first day home without scraping the front splitter off. Tried various ramps, big pain in the butt. Fixed all of that...I take the splitter off for the street and only reinstall it when I do a DE/TT. With the push-in attachment pins, it is easy to reinstall, even easier to remove, just jack up the car and push them in, starting at the center is how I do it. Just tug firmly on the splitter when it is time to take the spoiler off. So far, the pins seem to be reusable although I keep a supply of spares on hand, just in case.

+1 on this. Easy on/off if you don't keep the thing 3M taped on.
I also keep a handful of the push rivets in the ashtray. That splitter has come partially off because of sooooo many driveways. Having 5 or so in the car is way easier than trying to remove 5 or so and putting the splitter in the car.

I nut-serted my bumper, stainless allens with big washers, 3M tape and then used some silicone in the gap at the top. So far so good, it scrapes occasionally but right now I'm on a 3 year replacement plan with the Cup pieces and fine with that.
(During my real estate searches a few years ago my wife wasn't too happy that 1-2 of her dream houses didn't pass the low car test..... )

Yeah, if you do a lot of track, you really need the tape to seal the gap - once enough air (and rubber) gets on the gap, it will droop and pull away.
Scraping or drooping, these splitters have you coming or going!

I was never able to reuse the plastic buttons. I used Well nuts, much more secure and easy on and off.
Next time on the track, have somebody film your front splitter to make sure you don’t get separation between front bumper and splitter.

I no longer have the car stored where I scrape off the splitter on the swale in the driveway, only scrape to off on my trailer (Futura). I am going to fab up some mini-ramps to preclude this on/off splitter process, and then 3M double sided tape goes on. And as seen above, may be a good time to 3M the splitter to the number cover as insurance in addition to the 3M tape.
Maybe we'll see Mooty at the big PCA Laguna event in July...PCA won't tell me if I am in as a TT driver until the end of the month. They first want to fill up the racing groups.

I have been to 145 at Willow Springs, and it stayed on....maybe I had a big tail wind!

On track I use animal style racers tape times 3 and tape splitter to front bumper so no airgaps. Stock splitter has indentation for 3m tape so fits flush with bumper but cup splitter- Nope.

I use nylon bolts to attach the splitter vs. the factory plastic push rivets. The bolts keep the splitter firmly attached but will shear off in a hard impact thus protecting the bumper from damage. Works great without the ghetto look of tape...
