Why are you diagnosing a fault in a PSM system that does NOT exist on a 996GT3 which ONLY has ABS? There is no PSM pump present on a 996GT3 nor does the ECU have any PSM logic. Why are you using a 996TT repair manual to diagnose a fault on a 996GT3? Not being a smartass, just curious.

Hi thanks for helping. 2001 996tt. I was asking if ohms < 5 is ok, ohms > 5 is bad. My question is what if it’s 5 ohms, good or bad. I don’t see >= , stupid question Iam sure.

thanks for helping.

Post the question in the 996TT forum, someone there may know as PSM fault codes are relatively common on those cars and are often a result of a bad MAF or alternator which in turn throws various PSM fault codes seemingly unrelated to the PSM system itself. Good luck..
