Anyone have the current ( end of Jan. ) US production numbers? Any guesses as to the final numbers?

The 257 count is delivered thru December '03, I haven't seen the January '04 numbers posted yet. No guess on the final number but unless they start cranking out more than 28 a month for North America we're going to be well under 750.

The January figures aren't out yet. In 2003, PCNA delivered a total of 272 GT3's to both US (257) and Canadian (15) dealers.

Monthly and cumulative United States GT3 sales:

May 03: 1, 1
June 03: 1, 2
July 03: 59, 61
Aug 03: 89, 150
Sept 03: 21, 171
Oct 03: 30, 201
Nov 03: 28, 229
Dec 03: 28, 257
Jan 04: 18, 275

I had previously labeled these sales US and Canada both, but Viken is correct, these numbers do not include Canada.

Press release

The Basalt black Carrera GT from the L.A. auto show was delivered to Jerry Seinfeld right after the show was over.

Don, the 275 cars are those which were reported sold and delivered by dealers. They may not include unsold cars still sitting at dealer lots, in transit to North America and during the final stages of production. Also, Canadian cars are included in the North American allocations. Canadian dealers didn't report a sale in January, but I'll bet there are some cars available at dealers.

There are no GT3'S available in all of Canada .

There is a press car they will not sell untill this fall and they want full list.

If you want a GT3 in Canada you will have to buy from the US.

This is making my search for a GT3 difficult,

Duty tax is 6.1 % for Canada, which is also paid to import the car to the US.

Thanks Viken,

Just seems like alot of unacounted cars if some delivered cars have numbers toward 400. Thanks again.

Best,

Don

It makes no sense.

275 GT3 is 9 months, and all of a sudden half of that in one month?

I have been looking at dealer around US for a GT3. I don't think there are more than 10 available. Porsche search engine returned 2 at national level.

I want the car now, even that mine is on order with April delivery time. If I can find a car like my ordered one now, I'll take it and then sell my order under sticker.

How do I find out it's build date, etc, is there a 'history' dept who deal with stuff like this?
