Clutch suggestions for 996.2 GT3 track and rally
I’m up for replacement of my functional but tired clutch as precautionary maintenance and are looking at my choices.
no road use apart from 30km house to event travel ( anything else is on trailer)
Use is club track days and targa rally
car is fully set up for sporting events
thanks Dean

I have the Porsche RS 4.0 clutch, pressure plate and Lightweight flywheel.
Replace the RMS while you are at it. And if you have the stock LSD still replace it with a Guard unit. The stock GT3 LSD does not last very long so yours is probably perished if you still have the original.
This is also a good time to pull your engine and have the coolant pipes welded if it has not been done yet.

The cheapest solution is to replace the worn parts with OEM.
If you are in a position to spend more, then a light weight flywheel, clutch, and RS pulley will make an improvement.

You should be able to source the required parts locally.
Nick makes good points on other modifications you should do while you are there.

Dean I think you mentioned when we were chatting on Friday that you had pinned the lines already...I would suggest single mass flywheel if you haven’t done already...fantastic upgrade for these cars.
