Default Oil Pressure Gauge - Opposite of Usual Issue

I was at the track yesterday and noticed that at idle my oil pressure gauge was pegged above 5 bar. While out on track it would hover between just below 5 bar and above 5 bar. I remember on my previous GT3 it would hover around 2 bar at idle and then stay pegged at 5 once above 3K RPM or so. I know the oil pressure sensor is prone to failure in these cars resulting in a non-reading on the gauge, however I seem to have the opposite of this issue. Surely there is no way oil pressure could be 5 bar at idle?

Hello, You may consult this with digital pressure sensor manufacturers which will help you to get the perfect reading by using the pressure gauge with digital sensors. Though I am not sure about that but these kind of wireless pressure sensor <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->https://store.ncd.io/product/long-ra...essure-sensor/ will be good to use with pressure gauge.
