2004 Sports seats out of 2004 GT3 installed in my car worked great about a week. One day I use the upper release **** to fold the back forward & it gets jammed in that position. Few weeks later the passenger seat does the exact same thing.
Thinking a cable came loose I take the upper seat cover off. All cables etc are intact so i assume the back rest adjusting motor has jammed, they are welded to the seat back. Anyone know how to fix this?

Will it recline electrically?

You can lay back the seats to near horizontal with the button. I'm wondering if that wouldn't reset the seat, by chance.

It wouldn't while installed, I'll try to power it up with a battery charger, Thanks
