Hello all,

I have been in contact with Carnewall regarding a group buy for 2004 GT3 seats (2), roll bar/harness, belts and the accompanying install materials. This package lists at 4150 Euros including shipping. He was open to a group discount but didn't promise much. I am sure if we pooled this with 993 TT interests we could do better. The more the merrier.

Please let me know who is interested and I will try to coordinate.

Steve,
Did you get the price on the roll bars yet.
Thanks for your efforts,
Rob

I think there's still confusion on the roll bars and I'm going to ask Camille for pictures as I now think what is called the Tequipment 4-pt bar is simply a hoop w/o cross-bracing while the 6-pt bar has the cross bracing but still only bolts in at 4-pts and not at the shock tops. To answer the 4-pt price question it's $526.21 from Foreign Affairs but like the 6-pt bar is on backorder for a couple of months.

BTW, if you want to order at the prices I posted for Foreign Affairs just call Camille at (954)746-0488 and mention Rennlist Group Buy pricing.

Ok, here's some pics to clear up which bar is which for the Foreign Affairs pricing:

The "6-pt" Tequipment roll bar:

The "4-pt" Tequipment roll bar:

Note that they both mount at 4 points but the "6-pt" bar allows you to attach the 6-pt harness to it.

As I was trying to say when my net connection dropped, it seems a tad expensive for the 993 adapters given the price differential between straight gt3 seats and the adapted ones....

FYI - I checked a few local distributors, some dealers, etc. and decided to purchase everything at Carnewal in Belgium. Despite the Euro it was the best deal I could find for a whole package plus he had everything in stock. The package I ordered was the GT3 Seats (Nomex), Porshe motorsport harness (rotary release), 6 pt roll bar (Porsche Techequipment) and he threw in the shims for the rear wing. The total price which includes shipping was Euro 3,940 (assuming you do a bank transfer). Gert at Carnewal said he would do this price for others interested. Just mention Erik and the special deal for Rennlist members.
