Default Tire Air Compressor in Frunk from OEM

I purchased my 996 GT3 4 years ago and it didn't have a compressor, or any tire sealant with the car. What did the cars come with from the factory? The manual, on page 100, shows a compressor, tire repair kit, all in a formed compartment. Did the cars come standard with all of this? I am trying to find a "factory" solution for dealing with a flat tire. If people have other approaches that work, I would be interested to hear those, too.

For a North America Spec GT3 a black tray with open compartments holding OEM equipment in trunk:

1 - tow eye
1 - tire sealant
1 - air compressor
2 - aluminum threaded rod for wheel removal/installation
1 - wheel lock socket
1 - open end wrench 10 mm x13 mm
1 - screwdriver (one end flat blade, other Phillips)
1 - headlight adjustment tool
1 - disposable gloves

Good info...Tire Sealant, how many MLS in the bottle? The sealant bottle was missing from my trunk.

I have wondered if some GT3 owners put a 996 collapsable spare in the trunk? Fitment issues? Hmmmmm.

Looks like I have all the stuff listed except the wheel socket, BUT, no Mobil 1, I'll correct both of these omissions. Because I have the exterior of the windshield covered in clear 3M field to prevent pitting ans rock chips, I also need to take along a special glass cleaner and a roll of paper towels. There's plenty of room for that. I am also taking
along an aftermarket container of tire sealant. The one that is in my trunk has been there sine 2004...

Use a cloth instead of paper towels. better for the 3M.

I was thinking of adding a jack and a safety seal repair kit in there instead of the goop.. anyone done/do that?

My car came with the contents mentioned above. My black tray only had a placeholder for one of the threaded wheel removal tools. A second tool was in a plastic bag and was located in one of the wide slots. I just assumed that it was purchased separately by the previous owner and tossed in the frunk.

The tire sealant started leaking last year so I tossed it in the trash but kept the valve stem tool, valve core and warning sticker for the instrument panel.

I am on my 4th set of tires and have only had one flat from a bolt that punched through the tire. I fixed it easily with a Dynaplug kit.

It is a sleeve for the front of the hood.
