Fuel system check valve location 2004 GT3
I've got a hot start/extended cranking problem with a 2004 GT3. I have verified that when the car does not want to start, there is no fuel in the filter. The pressure gauge shows instant pressure when I key on, just no fuel. Takes about 5-10 seconds of cranking to get it going .
Pretty sure, the fuel is draining back to the tank, I am trying to figure out which piece of the fuel system the check valve is located in. Pump , venturi , or sending unit? . Any advice appreciated.
I don't post much over here, mostly an air cooled guy, I play on Pelican a lot . Thanks for your help .

It's in the fuel tank, part of the pump assembly

Its likely the hose. We just had a 2004 in the shop with this exact problem. Car ran in the morning sessions on track, then died suddenly. 3/4 tank of gas and still wouldn't crank.
When we pumped the tank and took out the pump, the hose had a 3/4 inch split in it. That explains no pressure or fuel at the fuel rail.
And my advice is, replace the whole pump. You can just replace the hose, but you will be back in there within 18 months to either fix another hose or change the pump because it now died. Experience shows, the hose cracking and splitting is just the beginning of the end of the pump as a whole.
