Brake question?
On a 2004 GT3 with PCCB 350mm brakes front and rear, when converting to iron for track use, does Porsche have OEM 350mm rotors for the rear?
I suppose there is always GIRO 350mm rear rotors, $1,200 a set, ouch. You really have to pay for that extra 20mm in diameter.

Not for the GT3, but I think OEM 350mm 997 Turbo or Cayenne rotors will work. The little set screw to secure the rotors to hub may not be in correct position but those aren’t really required.

350 mm rears from 997 Turbo GT2 I believe: I believe we'll try this next. Don't want 2 piece as you lose your parking brake. Wish me luck

Girodisc rears keep the parking brake, but if you can find 1 piece rears that fit they'll be a better financial decision.

Coming down the back stretch..
Must admit the GIRO front discs resting on their new lug studs from Tarrett, look pretty nice. They sit between some Pagid Yellow pads.

I used to run a 2 piece brembo type 3 rotor in 350mm on the rear of my 996 GT3 and had full use of the parking brake. They were a custom hat made by a shop here in Aus. Type 3 rotors are expensive but do not crack

997 Turbo/GT3 discs work perfectly for the rear 350mm setup
Panamera discs should work too, will potentially try next set on my car..

Cayenne S discs work on the front, far cheaper, but not drilled. Haven't checked the rear. A pal tried this, yes they were cheap, but he didn't "renew" when it was time. I had to try GIRO*** two piece, a little lighter, and when they wear out, aka, the groves are gone, you simply replace the rings, not the hats. $1,200 to get in for everything, hats and discs, and $800 for the discs alone. They also make rear two piece, but I went with 1 piece slotted. Far cheaper, and I could "invest" the savings in Pagid pads. Note the cool lug bolts I had installed from Tarett Engineering, with marching lug nuts.
***There are lots of opinions on GIRO rotors...I just went with my gut and ordered them. APEX Performance has them in stock, or you can order directly from the mfg. as I did. I couldn't wait an extra 5 days for the discs to arrive from the East Coast. GIRO is in WA state, 2 days to N. CA.

Cayenne discs work for the front(currently running the ATE slotted fronts on mine) , but not for rears.....any 996/7 rear disc in 350mm form works. 997GT3 discs work all round

Recently converted my car to the EBWerks 2-piece rotors F/R, and in the process up-sized my rear rotors to 350mm (with the help of a spacer from Agency Power). I still have full use of my e-brake (just needed slight adjustment). Significant weight savings over steel as well. So that is another option for you (and Enrique is awesome to work with as a vendor).
