Default Car Wrap

Thinking of having my 6GT3 wrapped to protect it from road debris (track debris). There is CarWrap.com in LA....only want to consider CA companies for the wrap. I suspect the cost may exceed $3,000, not certain. Anyone on this Board tried this? Any idea on costs? I have a request for a quote into Car Wraps.

If the car sees a fair amount of track time why spend that amount of money on a wrap? $3K+ can get you some good track goodies.

u mean clear film?
there are good wrap and **** wrap
truly good one's in CA are 3000-3500 for entire front clip.
if you are looking for mediocre job, then 1500-2000 can get front end done

Up here an entire car is $4,000 - $10,000 (I know!).

My Viper ACR including the wing was about $6K.

Since the car is not New I would do the front end (bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors), door sills and the wheel well lips. That should keep you protected and cost in the $3-4K range with CA inflation. Out east that runs arounds $2-3k.

I had my 2003 GT3 paint corrected and the entire front, side skirts, rear fenders up to 2/3 mark and behind rear wheels wrapped in xpel. That ran me about $2500 AUD (evidently you guys pay through the nose for film in the states compared to us - rare for something to be cheaper in Aus!). The car looked flawless after 15 track days and I always got compliments on its appearance. Now I am a PPF addict.

Good choice. From my understanding, xpel has a bit more of that orange peel look compared to suntek but is a hardier film, which is good for us track goers.
