Default Coolant drain points

Can someone point me in the right direction for the positions of the GT3 coolant drain point(s), or better still a "how to" explanation, especially to remove all of the questionable fluid filling my engine.

I'm familiar with the M96 coolant drain & refill procedure as I have dropped the coolant a few times on my 986 Boxster S, but without any explanation for the Metzger engine, I'm flying blind.....

theres only 1 way to completely drain the entire system and thats with a flush and fill setup. short of that theres 2 plugs under the engine and separete the 2 small lines that run under the trans. then the 2 large hoses that are on each side oif the motor just under the alternator and power steering pump and let everything drain. super messy and you will need approx 7 gals to refill.

Thanks krazy,
You are right about a complete flush is the way to go. I know from past experience that its a messy business, but I've no record of coolant change on the car so I'm investigating replacing the fluid myself as I did with my Boxster. The current coolant is green which is different from the pink stuff in my previous Porsche, so I'm suspicious to what's in there.
Can someone give me the heads up where these 2 drain plugs under the engine are located.

look under the car at the large aluminum cross tube. there a hex bolt on each side. remove and drain. if you have green dump everything. its going to be messy but must be done. i would also refill with 7 gals of distilled water and flush again . then use any of the audi vw or porsche coolant. its all the same just different pricing

Many thanks K...
I've just got underneath and the alloy tube (sitting just forward of the exhaust & an alloy heat protection plate) - looks like both ends of the tube exit the engine just inboard of the headers with 2 x allan key drain screws.
Damn, I wish there were more general maintenance guides on these Metzger engines.......

Those two drain points will drain only about 1/3 of the capacity. I am amazed at how much coolant is in that car.

So where else can you drain the remaining fluid?
My hand book says +/- 28 litres are in the system.....

There are two additional elbows toward the front of the gear box. That gets another 1/3 of the system. Then two large S looking hoses right above the nose of the transmission will get out the rest. A very large mess.

Thanks, I appreciate the guide lines. I'll jack the car up this weekend and check out the positioning of the drain points.......

My post above gets 90% of the coolant out.
