Is the GT3 an overachiever?
The Porsche GT3 zero to sixty times is in some pretty fast company.
However, with the exception of the GT3(385 HP & 275 Torque) and the Ferrari 360(400HP and 274 Torque), who have very similar weight, HP, and Torque numbers, most other supercars are pushing 450 to 500 HP, and a 450+ Torque number to do what Porsche and Ferrari somehow do on much less.
And the answer does not seem to reside in weight alone, as many of the 500HP and Torque beasts do not really weigh that much more than the Porsche and Ferrari.
The only car that I can think of that seems to squeeze more performance out of less is the Honda S2000 which has some very impressive perfomance figures for some extremely low HP and Torque numbers(240HP and 150 Torque). Honda seems to do it with RPMS.
My question is how does Porsche do it?
