Whistle Tip Update
In reading at November issue of the California DMV "Vehicle Industry news" today, I was saddened to learn that the legislature has added vehicle code 27150.3 and amended VC 42001 to outlaw whistle-tips! A violation of this provision is punishable by a $250 fine, and if a muffler shop installs a whistle-tip, they can be fined $1000! What will Bubb Rubb Wooo-Woo do now? (Only in Oakland.....
