Default Voltage output for Boxster CPS?

What is the standard voltage output for a 99 Porsche Boxster crankshaft postion sensor?

It's an a/c like waveform with amplitude proportional to the rpm. You need an oscilloscope to see the pattern.

What problems are you trying to solve?

bbeemer - Easier to start(??) CPS diagnosis by measuring its resistance cold and hot ? Often they are within spec cold but o-o-r cold. Renntech has the precise specs from JFP.Very roughly 1k ohms.
