My Baby got crushed in the door in a parking lot hit n run. I need to rekey the door lock on the replacement door handle (used condition in the replacement door). Is this a dealer only thing or can a locksmith rekey these? Thanks in advance all. Loving the car so sad it got hit, just had a respray in October this year....

Pretty sure it's dealer only, as the key/core combo is locked to the VIN of the car. A 5 minute call to your local dealer parts counter will clarify for sure.
