Default Definitely tried that a few times

i tried leaving the alternator, alternator idler, AC pulley and lower idler (next to the tensioner) each as the last step but it was short everywhere (which makes sense). That was with the ensioner pulley touching the idler, there was no more slack in the system.

I drove for about an hour yesterday so I will icheck the belt today and see how it looks.

Default Update

i pulled the air box to see if everything was fine and it was. Since I was there I tried the Porsche belt again and nothing has changed, still too small. The Contitech works beautifully and is a snap to remove and install.

Did you check if the new idle pulley has the same size as the old one ? There are multiple versions of the pulley (auto vs stick, diff MY, etc) Is the old belt the oem size?
