Default Rough idle

My 99 C2 has a slightly rough idle, revs seem steady enough but the car shakes a little bit, slightly more than my 95 993 did. Is this typical for a 99 996? It also hunts a little bit when the weather is cold (30s).

TIA,
Vic

my car has the same problem once in a while. I'm going to try to change my airfilter to see if that fixes the problem. i have a 99c2 fyi.

Add me to the list as well. Strangely, it seems to get better when the a/c is on

Probably because it idles a little higher when the AC's on. Could just be a characteristic of the car, I suppose ... every 993 I've been in had the shakes at idle, as did all the older 911s.

Gents;

Why don't you remove the Idle Stabilizer and give that a good cleanout with carb cleaner,....

Its attached to the left side of the throttle body and I'd remove it and clean it, and the passages out very thoroughly.
