Angry Errrrr! Door Ding from parking lot...

I was walking away from my car and noticed it...I felt like crap...it's a really smooth ding and there is no paint damage, thumb size.

What can I do?

Find a paintless body repair service and have them push out the ding. These guys will come to you and have the ding repaired in less than an hour so that you can not tell it was ever there. Most shops charge about £45 for each ding, but it is usually cheaper by the dozen.

Just leave it, that's what happens to cars when they are driven in the real world. There are more to come, and quite frankly, nobody else but you will notice or give a damn. Have them all removed when you flog the car.

Cheers,
Uwe

I would certainly go for paintless dent removal. I have used it...it works great and is cheap. Otherwise, the dent will just **** you off.

yup... I bought the Ding-King and i've used it on m3, 996, volvo s70, nissan 300zx, and nissan pathfinder. it works wonders~~ worth like 500 bucks~ you can probably get one at ebay or your local auto shop for about 20 bucks~

But you can't fix all dents via the paintless dent removal system. I have a very minor dent right on the edge of my door, and I brought my car to Dent Wizard to see if they could remove it. Due to the fact that there was not a minimum of one inch border between the dent and the door edge, they couldn't fix the dent via the paintless method. I'm told that matching the paint if I do go ahead with a "standard" method of dent repair will be very tricky and expensive. So I've learned to live with my tiny dent.
