What is the temperature and altitude where you reside? The need for higher octane diminishes at lower barometric pressure.
About 70's to low 80's. 1300'

If you have put in LL already, you may have damaged your cats already and they are big $$

92 octane is more than fine and most places in the USA the highest normal gas is 91. In any case the ECU will adapt even if you put in 87.

Putting in higher than 93 is a waste of $$ as it does nothing unless the car has been tuned for it, no matter if you are on the street or even long track sessions or driving hard

Do yourself a favor and do a search here before trying such things

Also, might be nice to introduce yourself on a first post, Pics too as without pics, it ain't real
Hi everyone. My name is Mark. Purchased an 01 996 C2 the first of Oct. last year. I haven't figured out how to include the pic of my car however, I could provide the VIN if u wish to keep it real.
Never tried glue. Never have put anything other than 92 octane, ergo, the reason for this post.
Anyway good to be here and I will figure out to get my Porsche on my posts.

Welcome. After you've posted for a while, then you can add pics. It would be a good idea not to post your VIN on a public board. Pics are fine. The 91 octane is fine for your car.
