Default Wheels

I am considering a set of Porsche 19" wheels for my 996.2 Cab C4. The wheels are staggered - Front: 235/40/19 with the Rear: 285/35/19. I just want to know if they will fit and the correct spacing if necessary.

Thx

I have a 2000 C2 and have Front: 235/35/19 with the Rear: 295/30/19. My father has the same wheels with the same offset on his 2003 C2. Neither of us need spacers. The offset is the key factor.

Wheels were purchased from Wheel Dynamics and are the AT4s.

Front: 19x8.5 ET. 52
Rear: 19x11 ET. 67

Stick with 18s is my humble advice. I'd go down to 17s wheels in a second if there were any available that I liked the look of.

Dedens I was looking into getting the same wheels and tire sizes. Is your car the stock ride height? How is the ride with those what tires did you go with S04s?

The PO of my 2002 C2 fit 19" BBS rims in a non-stock size.

I had 295/30-19 Bridgestones in the rear, and they did not rub. I replaced them with Michelin Power Sport 4Ses in the same size, and they rub when the rear suspension is compressed.

All in all, I'd prefer a set of 18s or 17s. Broad 19" rims and tires look good, but are overkill, and expensive. I'd like to find a set of Sport II rims in good condition that don't cost the Earth.

With a C4 (or C4S) the circumference matters as well. Keep that in mind when selecting the tires! Ideally its the same (front compared to rear), if that isn't possible Porsche say it has to be within 3%. Many people say if one set has a lower circumference, make it the rear. I ran into issue when I replaced my rear tires and not the front due to less wear.
