Default 997 Possibility

One of the better photoshopped possibilities. I like the rear 993-esque taile light treatment.

I like the air scoop on the hood. It gives the car a more aggressive and more "Porsche-like" look.

Front end is too mundane and blaah. Needs to jazz up. Better head lights maybe ?

Very well done! Little bit more accent on the fogs in front and a bit more 996ish tail lights and you've got the 997 IMHO.

I like the headlights but not the hood opening.

Why? It's been on every 911 except the 996. Our hoods look very plain without it.

I hate those photoshopped taillights. Too retro. Too narrow. I hope they move in the direction of the larger tail lights from the WB vehicles even over something of a similar size to the narrowbody taillights.

The front end looks quite nice with the hood scoop, I hope they go with the retro look on that.

That would be killer if they produced it! The hoodscoop is a must. I thought that was one of the best styling cues that made the "911 look". I also prefer the rear tail light strip. Another cue that has really made t he 911 look over the years that didnt need to be replaced. I like those headlights too, and the turnsignals. The intake is growing on me the more i look at it too. Basically a 996 with the traditional cues tacked on would be the best 911 so far in my opinion.

That hood opening is nice, but seems like it would add drag.

True, I guess it was just the space between the headlights that seemed odd/out of place.
