Last time I bought a British car without ettil knowing first we ended up with the 996 as compensation.
You'd think I would have learned... At least this time I didn't just get done telling her that we couldn't afford a piece of beach property that cost the same as the Jag (which we found was later sub-divided and sold for 250k for each section in the same time I lost 50k in depreciation on the Jag...)
The 80 MkII. It's not perfect and has some modifications, but it appears the major stuff has been sorted and it hopefully won't be a money pit out of the gate.

I assume the black one I found on BAT with your name as the top bidder, haha. I'm reading about it now. It looks like a really nice car. Rebuilt 1275 and little or no rust at all.
I think this one is going to go for upwards of $15k. I would pay about 13 but that site brings a premium. I don't see it selling for 10. Hell I would buy it if it were going to settle at 10...if I hadn't just bought one.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised that it's stayed so low for so long. Especially with the 68 jumping so quickly after it was posted.
I get that the 68 is a bit more desirable, but this 80 is cleaner and appears to be more ready to go out of the gate.
I agree I probably won't get it for 10, but figured it was worth a shot (and my marriage ).
