edit - I cannot for the life of me understand people hiding the beautiful lines of a 911 with stripes and checks. Even the ones Porsche does from the factory look tacky.

Sure - different strokes for different folks. I can appreciate that this isn't everyone's cup of tea. From my perspective, it's a bit of personnalization and I like that.

Here's a shot at it, using a 3/4 front view photo of my car. As mentioned earlier, there isn't a whole lot going on with the stripe at the front, due to the large intakes.

I like the stripe 2 or 3, but would like to see the vintage 'porsche' logo, centered. Ala the '74 914 rocker stripe. If you can, thanks. My car is Arctic Silver, too.

You mean like this?
I believe that's the standard Porsche triple stripe design you can buy from various retailers. My designs #2 and #3 are essentially the standard version, but with different text (using the Porsche typeface) and in slightly different shades.
