Got a donor 996? Can you spare a rear seat catch bolt?
I had to change the rear window regulators in my car. Previous owner apparently attempted to get into the area behind the interior rear panel and stripped the catch bolt. Apparently he did not have a decent set of tools as the aluminum hex wrench tool with the red handle that comes with the Cabriolet cars was twisted.
I tried to drill out the existing bolt and extract it using extraction bits, but it is in there so solid that they just snap off.
Anyway, I ended up cutting the bolt off so I could at least remove the panel and complete my repair. Now I am left with an exposed, damaged catch bolt that I am going to have to drill out.
I have a replacement rubber shroud that goes around the bolt, but I do not have an actual replacement bolt.
Do any of you guys with donor cars have a spare one of these you'd be willing to sell me? Pics of what I need are below.
Thanks in advance!

I deleted the rear seats, but I believe those bolts are still installed. If so, you're welcome to one of mine. I'll pull it off tonight - PM me your mailing address.

Florida Citrus but I run with Suncoast a fair amount as well! The avatar is my 997 that I've tracked quite a bit. My 996 is the focus now!

Otherwise, hit me up if you ever come to the Tarpon Springs area, we can meet up for coffee and gawk at our cars a bit...
See you around!

Need a rear seat catch bolt as well
Stripped the bolt trying to get it out, and after using a vice grip wrench to take it out, I now have a deformed, stripped, bolt and need a new one. No need for the plastic part, bolt only. If anybody has a spare one, please reply to this.

They are still available from the dealer for an eye-watering $33 each. Part#996-522-267-06.
