Glad that you like your set up. The whole idea is to convert these old head units to bluetooth.
This is a specific unit for Becker Radios. It plugs into the CD changer. End of Story. No other connections except for the microphone and a single button to advance the song, connect to Siri, or to hang up a call.

The photo on the site isn't accurate.

There are no stereo plugs, jacks, ribbons, or bows. Just wireless Bluetooth that works flawlessly. If it were me, I'd examine one to see if it does everything I'm trying to accomplish before investing time and money into reinventing a well-designed and relatively inexpensive wheel.

I have no affiliation with the seller or the manufacturer. I'm just a happy customer who wants to dispel incorrect information about a very good product.
Ah I see, wasn't aware of that product.

I guess the solution that Dave is thinking about would be for Most systems as you're all sorted.

Im still interested to see what he comes up with. There are many options for the CDR220 but for the most systems there is only the transit via antenna and dension.

From my understanding of this thread, the OP has a solution for the CDR-220 but is unsure if it will work for the CDR-23. Please forgive my reading comprehension skills if I'm wrong. I'm old.

The beta kit works in Porsche with: Becker Traffic Pro, Mexico CD (7803, CC4325, CC4327, CD4337, CC4370), CR-22, CDR-22, CR-220, CDR-220. With an adapter, I can get it to work with CR-210*, CDR-210*, PCM1* with "AUX MENU" setting. 2 wires to tap into. That's it.

Nice work, assuming you are indeed making a kit that can be used on the non MOST units?

I might give up and go a Dension Gateway 500, gah...

The one they currently offer would fit a 996, but all modern becker radios have the same style and would work also but they are expensive.

I added BT (to stream music and take/recieve phone calls) quite easily and cheaply on my PCM1 system.

1. 3.5-BKRCD from Discount Car stereo (gives you aux input) ~ $30
2. mpow aux to BT reciever with mic ~ $18

Took 10 mins to setup and everything looks acts factory. The BT streaming quality is great. Only thing I had to give up was the CD changer.

Got the first feedback from an installer. Took him under 30 minutes as EVERYTHING is in the kit, and he is HAPPY! That was nice to hear.
