If the car runs and just smokes a bit after warmup it's at least an $8k car all day long. Plenty of people out there that are sure it's just an AOS or that they can diagnose is correctly after they buy it.

The replacement engine with relatively low mileage and a video supporting that it ran when pulled should also get at least $8k. Someone out there blew an engine and can't afford a Raby rebuild and doesn't want to sell a roller for 15k less than it was worth a week ago and has a whole winter to install the engine and that's who will buy it... But I still think that if you put both on ebay and start them at 8k each they will go for over 10k each as long as you spread the word in the forums about the auctions....

But the other comment about selling the smoky engine as a core is a good one too if you have the time, space, tools, and inclination to pull engine A and install engine B. You'll make a big chunk of your money back.
