Default Disable Drivers Airbag

I'm replacing my stock wheel with a Momo that has no airbag. As I understand it, I have 3 options.
  1. Drive around with Airbag light on - (Not an option I am considering)
  2. Fool Airbag system with resistor - Where can I buy the orange clock spring connector?
  3. Have airbag system set to not check for drivers airbag with a PIWIS - Can anyone confirm that this can be done? Can Durametric Pro do it?

Also, with options 2 and 3, do the other airbags still fire in the event of an accident?

I would do #2. I need to look at the connector to advise.

Yes, all airbags should still fire even if one is missing.

It is reportedly the orange connector here:

There is some great info on this thread, but I don't want to cut the wires off my existing clock spring.

This is a rough version I found in that thread. I would tuck it away nicely and heat shrink it.

My wheel and adapter should arrive tomorrow. I may end up cutting the plug of my current clock spring assembly.
