Anyone have a vector file of this stripe?

If I get bored of them, it was only $50 and an hour's worth of my time.
Nice job Phil. No doubt the "ghost stripes" really look cool.

I'm taking off the old 3m clear bra right now before I have a new one applied. I'm using an automotive steamer that I bought a few years ago to clean the carpets. Fairly easy to do. I followed the tutorial posted in the Concours and Car Care forum: https://rennlist.com/forums/concours...-tutorial.html

My iteration of the Porsche side decals, just enough contrast to be visible

wanted to say nice work on the decals... I like these but am too much of a follower to be the first in the city with a painted C2 996. Maybe in a few years there will be a bandwagon to hop on. They look great!

Just leave the car in the sun and you can peel them right off if you don't like them. No tools are needed. If they've been on for a few years you 'might' need to use a plastic edge like a credit card to get them to come off at parts.

Looks nice, can you post a picture that shows the full car.

Gives you a sense of how the lettering is visible from certain angles

So that's what a Porsche looks like...

Personally, the "Carrera" decals is more period correct IMO for the car and also educates people that a Porsche 911 is also referred to as a Carrera.

The older looking decals would best be served with a 996 that went for a full retro theme with the Fuch wheels and duck bill spoiler IMO. Just my $0.02
