No Shifting
So I was going down the road and shifted into third, let the clutch out and got some high revs like I didn't hit the gear when I shifted. Went to put it back into third and my shifter is completely "loose". I can move it to all the shift positions but it is very loose like it isn't connected to anything and car is in neutral. I've never blown a clutch before (not sure I did now) and am not really sure where to start troubleshooting. When I pulled over there was fluid on the ground, but I'm not sure if it was already there, or from my car. Car runs, just sits in neutral. No lights on the dash. Pushing clutch pedal in gives me resistance. Thoughts?

The shifter is connected to the transmission via two cables. Sounds like your cables have disengaged somehow. Someone needs to go under the car and check the transmission side and if that's good, you nee to remove the center console (as if you were doing the SSK install) and check the inside.

Shifter cable has come loose at the transmission or maybe even a cable broke.

It its as simple as the cable popping out of the bracket, it should be an easy fix. You'll need to remove the plastic underbody covers and should be able to see them straight away. On the passenger side of the transmission.

Thanks all
It was one of the linkages popping off the transmission. pushed it back on and I think I'm good to go.
Also, FYI, after taking the underbody panels off I realized I didn't need to.

FWIW, this happened to me too about 4 months ago. I popped it back on and all has been well for the last 1.5k miles. I thought I was going to need to replace the cable immediately, but I'm going to wait and see if it happens again.
Yes - you do NOT need to take off any underbody panels. Another mistake is checking the shifter side first. I wasted a bunch of time removing my center console for no reason.

Well, at least you got the privilege of dumping all of the gravel and crap that accumulates on top of those panels all over yourself...
