Default Oil on air intake

Hi all,
I just acquired à 2004 996 carrera 2. Great car i love it !!

My problem is that i found oil under the intake (the T part). A bolt seems to be unscrewed and maybe that oil is coming from the Hydraulicoil réservoir (really dont know what thats for) i cannit reach that bolt without removing all the intake... i joined à picture of the bolt

Thanks

The oil crud on the intake T plenum usually means your AOS is underperforming or it has failed. Check your crankcase pressure and it shouldbe around 5" of water. If it's much higher then you need to replace the AOS.

To tighten that bolt, you may need to remove the throttle body and the T plenum to create more space.

Thanks for the quick reply, ive read about the aos and you might be right. But my car is smoking white only at start up (and always after rain) and im pretty sure that there is too much oil in engine, maybe ( i hope) thats the problem...
