Splitter fitment
so I bought an aftermarket lip/spoiler off eBay as the OEM has seen better
days
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-996-.../150751922965?
so today was bumper service, clean out the rads and stuff
install some mesh behind the intakes
should fit right, looks a little short by about 5/8' or so
tried bending the bumper (it's off the car)
any tricks ?
thanks in advance

Make sure you have it dead center, and then start from the middle and work outward. Mock it up with blue painter's tape if necessary...

working on it....
and success
5CHN3LL's approach worked
secure top of bumper, measure for center and work to ends
you have to dispense with a couple of clips on end at wheel well
and don't be afraid to add a couple of TEK's around the inlets to stiffen it
luckily, I already had primer and 1 coat finish already on, so I just
shot another couple of coats
cleaned radiators
