Gentlemen

Can anyone ID the bulb circled in red in the pic (not my headlight, pic is from the net, but it's the same mk2 litronic as mine)

Mine's out.

That little bulb is more common in European cars than American cars. It's known as a "city light". The idea is that in well lit, urban areas you use your city lights at night instead of headlights.
