I think it's common in the USA to raise the front bumper high enough to meet government front impact crash requirements. I could be wrong on this, but I thought I read it somewhere in the past.

Ok since no one else has just come out and said it - it is quite likely that due to the age of your car the suspension is in need of a refresh. Given that most of the weight is in the rear of the car that is where it'll sag the most.
Update your suspension and you'll get the car looking right again.

I suggest you set your car on a level surface and measure the distances from the ground to the fender lips for the four wheels. Then you have something to compare. From a picture is difficult to assess.

Take a straight side shot. I don't think there is any rake. The side molding looks equidistant to the ground front and rear. It's a bad camera angle and these cars have a HUGE gender gap on factory US suspension. Furthermore I'm not convinced having a rear engine would make the rear sag more than the front even if it had 200k on the clock. The front springs are MUCH softer and likely get more abused than the rear. I would think the soft front springs see more abuse from braking than the suitably stiffer rear spring/ shock combo see from a engine sitting there.
