Default Having an issue with my ignition, anyone know?

Just about a month I would say my ignition seemed kinda tight when I put the key in to start the car. Last night I turned it on and the car started but my headlights weren't turning on nor the air, then I wiggled the key a little and it was like it wasn't completing some sort of connection because then it all turned on. Then taking the key out it was super stiff almost stuck and I had to kinda wiggle it out. Is the ignition bad or what you think? Easy fix? I doubt it but some insight is much needed. Car is a 2003 C4S with 67k

^ Yep. Lots of threads on here about this. The consensus is to buy the more expensive of the two available versions - one is $10 and the other is about $30.

Okay cool thanks. Yeah I saw the 2, one was OE at the higher price so I will go with that. Seeing it for around $25 or so. Thanks!

As others have said, probably the ignition switch. I just went through it: if you search for a recent thread I started on the topic I also posted some tips that make it a bit easier.

Today I received the new switch from Pelican Parts and just finished installing it. Was tight working up in there but got it swapped out and the ignition feels great now. Nice!
