Default Manual Transmission Fill and Drain Plugs

Does anyone happen to know the part number for the manual transmission fill and drain plugs for an 02 C2? I found some references to the plugs for a Turbo or GT3, but not the C2.

If memory serves me correct, on the 996 both the transmission drain plug and fill plug are identical.

Are you wanting to replace these because the inner hex is rounded off? Just curious

They certainly look the same on the car, so hopefully they are the same. The inner hex is not yet rounded off, but it is starting to. Would rather replace the plug while I can still get it out!

Agreed. Just make sure you remove the fill plug before removing the drain plug!

It's always a fun project when you drain the transmission, and then find out the fill plug can't come out...
