I will be coming over to the Bay Area next week on a business trip. I am trying to source a gearbox for my porker which is moanin and groanin
in 1st gear. Can anyone suggest a good breaker to go visit to try to source a used one?

Part's Heaven is a good one in Hayward.

But maybe you don't have to travel so far, there is also a great one in Ireland (North) outside the Moy. It's called Traynor's and I've seen 996s perched up on their racks on my frequent trips over there.

 

You could also call Jim at EASY in Emeryville at 510 653-3279, although your car may be a little recent for him. now if you wanted a 356 gear set-those I am sure he would have in abundance!
