My daughter works as a hostess at a Country Club in the summers. When the valet needs to park a MT car, they come get her.

This is sad, but true. I didn't have nearly enough practice driving stick before I bought my car, so I'm basically getting more familiar with it as I go. Of course, I picked the worst city to do that in (why is everything a goddamn hill?), but that's a different story.

It's funny, I've had at least a couple of other friends do essentially what I did (buy an old Porsche or BMW M and learn to drive on it).

You missed THE MAN over there by a few weeks. It's really sad the owner/chef passed away in a senseless accident on i290 a few weeks ago.

I was fortunate to have sampled his greatness a few years ago.

That place is VERY hard to park at.
