LOL! No, it was not illuminated or glow in the dark. That would have been great if it did.

I was considering replacing the included switch with an OEM dashboard switch. I sent a note to iSimple support asking if it was just a momentary switch or if there was more to it. Here is the reply from technical support:

"No, its not just a switch from what were told there is a board with resistors and stuff in it"

I installed the plug and play one in my car a few weeks ago. It is fantastic for the price. So much clearer than the dynavin $800 headunit I put in my Cayenne.

There is some alternator whine, so I eventually install a ground loop isolator, but other than that for $109 it is perfect.
