Default $3.4mil for Fried Eggs...

Estimated selling price of $3.4million for the only street legal '97 GT1.

I can see all the 993 crowd huffing and puffing now.

Since the front end of the GT1's chassis actually came off of the 993, shouldn't blame for the whole fried egg headlight design be aimed at the 993? Too late? lol

Default 97 GT1

Looking at that photo, it reminds me of Nascar "stock cars".

I doubt there is a single part on that GT1 that comes "stock" on a 993.

Funniest thing about Nascar cars is, as we all know, they have a tubular frame - are all rear wheel drive with a 4 speed tranny (probably from a time frame around 1990).
Funniest of all is that some of them are badged as, say, a Ford Taurus or Toyota Camry - which (the older Taurus) are front wheel drive. And I'm unaware of any Taurus or Camry that ever came with a V8 engine - producing 700 or more hp.

Plus it's water cooled. Who'd want that?

I absolutely LOVE the style and look of the GT1-evo... setting aside the performance it looks like what Porsche is all about.

OMG! It doesn't have Volkswagen headlights. Can't possibly be a Porsche.

I'm not an auto-sexual, but if I was, that would be the car.

How does it handle at high speeds on city streets with 6 year old tires?

Frankly, we were kind of hoping he'd stay there and build his library on the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
