Default Rear windscreen gasket?

Hey all,

Decided to get a new rear windscreen gasket as mine was lifted in the corners. Did a search on how to install it but all I found was to press it in.

Just wondering if anyone has a pic of how the rear of the screen rubber gasket should look? Have been able to get it in place all around but at the base it's quite difficult to get it. Was able to squeeze it in but im not sure if it's right? The gasket looks to be a superseded design to the old one.

I'm not sure how big the gap between the fold of rubber should be? Any smaller and it falls out?

Thanks!

It looks ok to me, but I'm not totally sure what you're concerned about...To me the scratching and water spots look much worse than the gasket...

Haha needs a good wash and polish!!

Was just concerned about how deep the gasket should sit? I E. How big should that gap in the rubber fold be?

The superseded part doesn't seem to fit as well as the original as the design is different?

Should it just press in like I have done or have I missed a step?

Cheers

Could someone please post a pic if they have the rubber gasket like mine for a reference?
