So I think I'm going to bite the bullet and buy these. I'm just not overly thrilled with my fabspeed maxflows. Nice subtle throaty sounding exhaust but I love the way the tubi sounds. I've been searching for places that carry them and found the cheapest here: www.smokeysperformance.com

Does anyone else know a place selling them cheaper or is this the cheapest? Everywhere I've looked has been in the $2500 range w/o shipping.

BTW, Tubi Style mufflers are exceptional

 

I dont like tubi, I think they are too loud and too tinny. And cheap made, I had to reweld all the brackets. I got a set very similar to maxspeed motorsport complete header, cat, mufflers for 2700 but now they are about 3600. and sound fantastic.

 

FYI, Kline makes a really nice product. I had a decat on my 997tt and it was amazing.

 

I had tubi on my 99 and it was awesome.

 

I also had Tubis on my 99 - and the sound was amazing.

 

I had a middle aged mom in a minivan tell me my car sounded awesome and a 85 year old dude at the golf club tell me "that how a ****ing Porsche should sound!"

 

I have them on my 02 C4S and couldn't be happier

LOL! I was thinking the same and wanted to ask but I didn't want to be referred to YouTube. I've listened to probably all of those clips. Some sound better than others. Would really like to hear:

1) cold start Idle
2) warmed up rev
3) drive by normal acceleration.
4) drive by hard acceleration.

After my wedding in 4 weeks, I will also be in the market for an exhaust system.... love the sound of tubi but there are quite a few other options for half the price. I really cant make my mind up.
